Garrison's Landing is located along the Hudson River opposite West Point Military Academy, and was an important ferry landing
before the building of the Bear Mountain Bridge.






Today, Garrison is best known for its Art Center, Community Theater, Golf Courses, Hiking, and the outstanding views.





From the Boscobel Property to the Shakespeare Festival, Garrison is home to many artists, writers, architects and individuals
that thrive on the inspirational beauty of the area.


The original train depot was a film shoot location used in the film, "Hello Dolly" with Barbra Streisand.
Garrison's Landing is still a scheduled stop on the Metro North line.

Garrison is horse country, you will see some of the most pastoral farm settings in the Hudson Valley with many that include stone houses.
